Midlothian Country Club is a full-service, private club featuring an 18-hole championship golf course, modern dining room, banquet facilities, indoor/outdoor bars, a pool complex, and a newly renovated clubhouse. Founded in 1898, MCC proudly holds the distinction of being the first private country club established on the South Side of Chicago. We are currently seeking a personable and detail-oriented Member Services Coordinator to join our team. This position is perfect for someone with excellent phone etiquette, computer skills, and a warm, professional demeanor. Position Summary
As the first point of contact for members and guests, you will be responsible for providing accurate, friendly, and efficient service. You’ll share information about club amenities and events, assist with reservations, and support day-to-day communication and administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist members and guests in person and over the phone
- Manage dining and event reservations, including online platforms
- Update and print menus, buffet cards, etc for the Food & Beverage team
- Upload menus and event information to the club website
- Respond promptly to voicemails and emails
- Stay informed on club events, operating hours, menus, and general FAQs
- Maintain a polished, professional front desk appearance and attitude
- Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure seamless member service
- Provide directions to various areas of the club
- Ensure a clean and welcoming entrance for members and their guests
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Member Services Coordinator, reception and hospitality-related experience required
- Previous experience in a private club or high-end restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer and phone skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional in demeanor and appearance
- Must be comfortable multitasking in a busy, service-driven environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation to Midlothian, IL 60445
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time: 25-35 hours/week depending on month/season
- Shifts may include: Day or evening shifts
- Weekends and holidays
- Tuesday through Sunday availability
